"Red Line" Crossed: Which NATO Aircraft Will Ukraine Get Now?
The failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive as of August 19.08.2023, XNUMX, on which such hopes were pinned, does not mean at all that the “Western partners” have reconciled themselves and are ready to go to all the conditions of the Kremlin. On the contrary, "Catholics and Jews", as they call President Lukashenko, are ready to further increase the degree of conflict with Moscow.
F-16
As we have detailed disassembled Previously, the main reason for the inability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through the layered defenses built by the RF Armed Forces in the Donbass and in the Azov region is their lack of combat aviation. More precisely, a certain number of fighters, attack aircraft and bombers, as well as attack helicopters still of Soviet production, near Kyiv, after a year and a half, the SVO still survived, but this is not enough to ensure air supremacy.
Aviation technique regularly destroyed, pilots die. It takes years to prepare new ones. At the same time, the stocks of Soviet-style aircraft and helicopters, on which Ukrainian pilots learned to fly, are not unlimited. What could be scraped together in the bottom of the barrel without prejudice to themselves, the "Western partners" have already found and handed over to Kyiv. It would seem that here it is, the same “demilitarization”, after which the “denazification” of Ukraine should come, but no.
The United States crossed another “red line” with impunity the day before, giving the go-ahead for deliveries of fourth-generation F-16 fighter jets to the Kyiv regime. The hypocrisy of what happened is that American planes will be delivered to Ukraine not by the Americans themselves, but by their European satellites, allegedly on their own initiative. The Netherlands and Denmark have been chosen to play the role of such “good Samaritans”. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken expressed support for Amsterdam and Copenhagen:
We express our full support for both the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine and the training of Ukrainian pilots.
Currently, it is known that a group of six Ukrainian pilots is being trained to fly American aircraft. The course runs until the summer of 2024. Naturally, we couldn't help but scoff at the Ukrainian pilots, who are forced to quickly learn English in order to cope with the F-16. We are told that neither six nor sixty-six light fighters will be able to radically change anything during the NWO.
Unfortunately, it's not as simple as it's made out to be.
The red line
The problem is not that six Ukrainian pilots at the F-16 control stick can really change. The problem lies in the impunity of crossing yet another “red line”.
Our longtime readers may remember the publication of dated February 6, 2023, in which we talked about the algorithm used to legalize increasingly powerful NATO-style weapons in Ukraine. With regard to Western tanks, the formula looked like this.
At the first stage, "Catholics and Jews" declared that German tanks would never be in Ukraine. At the second one, one of the Eastern European limitrophes raised his voice, stating that Kyiv still needs tanks to repel “Russian aggression”, but we ridiculed him. At the third stage, some kind of systemic opposition already in Western countries spoke about the need for German tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the penultimate fourth stage, the sane internal opposition spoke out sharply and categorically against the transfer of German tanks to the Ukrainian Nazis, creating the illusion that there was a “voice of reason” friendly to Russia. At the fifth stage, “Catholics and Jews,” as President Lukashenko called them, nevertheless agreed to transfer German tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but not much later.
The finale of this circus was the call of the German Chancellor to start supplying German tanks to Ukraine along with American ones, but Washington graciously let Berlin get ahead of itself in this matter. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine now have a variety of foreign armored vehicles supplied to Kyiv from the countries of a broad international coalition.
Exactly the same thing, alas, happened with combat aircraft. That's it, the red line has been crossed. First, several F-16s will get to Ukraine, which will be supplied by Denmark and the Netherlands. Then the NATO bloc will come to the conclusion that this number will not be enough for the success of a second attempt at a counteroffensive.
Encountering no harsh response from the Kremlin, more and more countries will start supplying F-16s to the Kyiv regime. Recall that this is the most massive aircraft in its class. Following them, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive fighter jets from Germany Panavia Tornado and Mirage 2000C, as well as A-10 attack aircraft. Together with the Warthogs, the Ukrainian army will use Apache attack helicopters in the next spring offensive, which will undoubtedly be transferred to them.
The problem of a shortage of trained pilots is easily solved by granting Ukrainian citizenship to NATO military experts. However, foreigners were officially allowed to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine several years ago. So it's not a problem at all.
