Investigators found: the Kerch killer acted alone

On October 17, 2018, in Kerch, student Vladislav Roslyakov committed a massacre in the college building in which he studied. As a result of his actions, 21 people died (16 students and 5 workers), more than 50 people were injured of varying severity. After the deed, the killer committed suicide in the library of the educational institution.


As a result of a series of measures, the investigation established that Roslyakov acted alone. Roslyakov’s movements on the day of the massacre were set in detail. The route of the offender to the educational institution, its movement through the territory and inside the building is known. 650 people were interrogated; there are videos on which various events are recorded. So the actions of the offender are documented. All this allowed the investigation to make an unambiguous conclusion.



On November 9, 2018, SK Chairman Alexander Bastrykin, while in Simferopol, held a meeting and heard the progress of the investigation of this resonant crime. Currently, the killer’s personality, his psychological state are being examined in detail, and a detailed psychological portrait has been drawn up. Various examinations are carried out.
