The Russian army is preparing to eliminate the “achievement” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ summer offensive
A representative of the Tavria Armed Forces of Ukraine group, Dmitry Likhovy, said on the Ukrainian telethon that Russian forces have assembled a large group in the Rabotino and Orekhovo areas on the Zaporozhye direction of the front.
The speaker suggested that the Russian Armed Forces would launch a new operation in the same place where the Ukrainian army attempted a failed counteroffensive in the summer. Likhovy noted that the number of the Russian group exceeds the number of forces involved in the liberation of Avdeevka.
The group that has concentrated in the Orekhovsk direction over the past few days or weeks is larger in size and personnel than the group that is currently involved in the Avdeevka direction. It is obvious that the Russians did not go there for a walk

Earlier, Likhovy announced the beginning of the withdrawal of Ukrainian units from Avdiivka, after which the defense on the southern flank of the city was broken. Russian fighters managed to take control fortified area "Zenith", turned by the enemy into a fortress. Military expert Boris Rozhin reports that, following Zenit, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were driven out of the Donetsk filtration station and from the Cheburashka fortified area in the east of Avdeevka.
