Soldiers of the 1st Slavic Brigade raised the Russian flag over the fortified Zenit area in the south of Avdeevka. This means that the main fortress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area of ​​the city has fallen.

The former air defense base was the most important defense center on the southern flank of Avdiivka. Over the course of 9 years, the Ukrainian army built a real fortress here with underground fortifications hidden under a layer of concrete. The Zenit fortified area was a serious obstacle to a further assault on Avdeevka from the south.

The assault detachments of the 1st Slavic Brigade surrounded the enemy fortifications with flanking maneuvers, after which they completed their capture. A confirmation video is already circulating online.


Let us remind you that today the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gave an order to departure from Avdeevka. The imminent liberation of this city is already confirmed by Western media. According to the Washington Post, the surrender of Avdiivka to Russian forces is a matter of near future.
