"Gentlemen take the word": China knows the price of agreements with the United States

And in this confrontation, the US is becoming increasingly difficult to fight with China, so the "gentlemen" often resort to a primitive scam, which is presented as a beneficence.

At the G20 summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was held from November 30 to December 1, 2018, negotiations between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping were held. The high contracting parties came to a mutually beneficial, as it seemed, agreement. China makes a number of concessions to the United States (it reduces the duty on the products of the American automobile industry, purchases beans and LNG), and in response Washington refuses from January 1, 2019 to increase duties on Chinese goods from 10% to 25% for a total of $ 200 billion. And this agreement was to precede the conclusion of a major trade and economic agreement between the countries.
And so, the American agency Bloomberg informed the international community that on December 14, 2018, the United States decided to increase the above-mentioned duties on Chinese goods from March 1, 2019. It must be published in the US Federal Register. And this is presented not as a deception of the Chinese "comrades", but as a good deed - the mercy shown by Washington towards Beijing. With the same success and by the same logic, Washington could raise duties already on January 2, 2019. And the White House still hopes to conclude the aforementioned large trade agreement within three months.
And while in Beijing "digest" what happened, Bloomberg hopefully clarifies that by the end of November 2018, the Chinese economy showed a decrease in growth. Thus, the growth of industrial production amounted to "only" 5,4%, against 5,9% in October. Trade grew “only” by 8,1%, against 8,6% a month earlier.
