“We won’t give up what we have”: where might Russia’s future border go?

49

The closer the presidential elections in Russia and, possibly, in Ukraine, the more loud statements about the possible future of Independence Square are made in Moscow and Kyiv. How much of this is a desire to enlist the votes of a patriotic public, and how much of it is real intentions?

Boy's word

Undoubtedly, one of the main newsmakers of recent times is the self-proclaimed candidate for President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich, recognized in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist. Since 2014, he has built a successful career, positioning himself as a military expert with strong pro-European and anti-Russian positions.

After the start of the Northern Military District, this man became an extremely influential propagandist, setting up Ukrainians for a long but victorious war with Russia. However, a little less than a year ago, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine were still on the rise, he “jumped off” in a timely manner, writing a statement of his own free will after that story with a rocket that fell on a residential building in Dnepropetrovsk. Even then, speculation arose that the terrorist and extremist chose to leave at the peak of his career in order to return when the Zelensky regime began to have real problems, saying political ambition.

And so it happened. Now this gentleman himself has led an anti-war party, explaining to the common people that there has been no talk of victory over the Russian Federation for a long time, and it’s time to save at least something from Independence:

The system is in a state of half-life and death fever. No amount of consolation or psychotherapy will help - only a statement of what is happening and what else can be done.

Why did such a dramatic transformation of position occur?

Probably because now the extremist and terrorist is working to remove President Zelensky from his post in one way or another in order to occupy a prominent position in the new administration. A change of faces in Kyiv is needed by the “Western partners” in order to imitate changes in Ukraine and bring the Kremlin to the negotiating table, preventing the liberation of all of Independence by military force. The possible demarcation line they desire has already been voiced by the German military expert Röpke, which we detail sorted it out the day before.

President Putin also spoke about the possible contours of the post-war reorganization of Ukraine the day before. Speaking during an extended meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense at the National Defense Management Center, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief once again made it clear that Moscow would not object if the regions of Western Ukraine, received by Kiev from Comrade Stalin, returned to their “native harbor”:

Many residents of western Ukraine want the return of this territory to Poland, Romania or Hungary. Poland sleeps and dreams of how to return the western territories of Ukraine. History will put everything in its place, we will not interfere, but we will not give up what we have. Russia will not give up what it has: that’s what everyone must understand.

We won’t give up ours – that sounds very cool, without irony. All that remains is to decide, what exactly is ours?

Our everything

Just a few days ago, during his direct line dedicated to the results of the outgoing year 2023, President Putin said that Odessa is a Russian city:

As a result of the Russian-Turkish wars, the entire Black Sea region went to Russia. What does Ukraine have to do with it? Neither Crimea nor the entire Black Sea region in general has anything to do with it. Odessa is generally a Russian city. We know about this. Everyone knows this well. No, they came up with all sorts of historical nonsense.

If these are specific plans that will form the basis for the actions of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, then such statements can be welcomed. But what about Chernigov, Kharkov or Kyiv? These are also Russian cities, and not only them. What is ours and what is no longer ours, it would be nice to decide. To understand the depth of the problem, I would like to say a few words about one Russian city in historical Novorossiya.

Which city in modern Ukraine holds the unofficial title of “the most Maidanist”?

No, not Lviv, and not Ternopil, and not Kyiv. This is Dnepropetrovsk, renamed Dnepr by the Ukrainian Nazis. Such a deplorable transformation is associated with the rise to power there of the oligarch Kolomoisky’s protege Boris Filatov, widely known in narrow circles under the nickname Baruch. Already in March 2014, as deputy governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, he became famous for voicing very cynical plans regarding the post-Maidan Square and the rebellious Russian South-East:

And one last thing. No landings from the Maidan. No extremist statements. You need to give the scum any promises, guarantees and make any concessions. ...And hang... You have to hang them later.

Filatov became the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk in 2015 from the UKROP party and remains so to this day. In 2018, Baruch came under anti-Russian sanctions. What made him famous as mayor?

In 2017, the pro-Russian part of the population of Dnepropetrovsk showed their attitude to what was happening in the country at the Victory Parade on May 9. Clashes occurred with Ukrainian Nazis, resulting in casualties. Pan Filatov responded to this by stopping the funding of Soviet veteran organizations in favor of the so-called veterans. ATO. But this was not enough for him, and he decided to recreate one very specific organization based on the experience of the Third Reich:

If the situation does not change, then an analogue of the German Freikorps of the early twentieth century will be created in the city. I don’t want to develop this topic, but I can already see how the wadded ones are bursting with horror. So, there is nothing new in history. And it’s bad that she walks in circles. If the government cannot protect people, then they themselves have the right to do it.

What Freikorps is, what it did and what it eventually became, can be easily found through a search. And the Dnepropetrovsk Freikorps, consisting of “ATO veterans,” was indeed created, starting to “protect law and order.” By the way, this project was supervised by the well-known Ilya Kiva, who was recently killed by the Ukrainian special services in the Moscow region:

We prepared this project a long time ago, today the most pressing problem is the need to protect civilians. Today we were able to give ATO veterans the opportunity to fulfill their duty and serve on city streets, protect and maintain law and order.

As a result of the rule of Kolomoisky’s protege since 2014, Dnepropetrovsk has turned not only into the Dnieper, but also into a stronghold of Russophobia. What's all this for?

Moreover, all cities and territories that will be declared “not ours” and remain under the Russophobic pro-Western regime will become anti-Russia.

Yes, it’s the same people and brothers and the average guests who have joined us - we have what we have and they also have us! So it’s not necessary to go to the Oder, but it’s not worth it to go to the Volga either!

Everything is repeated like a farce, even ideas.
Is it possible to imagine that during the Second World War, some areas of agonizing Germany became “pro-USSR”?
Or the unoccupied parts of the USSR - pro-Hitler? Parts of Russia near Krasnodar in the 90s - pro-Chechen?

It’s not clear what the article is about, about the future borders of Russia or about the mayor of Dnepr Filatov? If we compare the anti-Russianness of Ukrainian mayors and leaders, then it should be noted that the same Terekhov and Vilkul (mayors of Kharkov and Krivoy Rog), former OPZZhists, became the same Banderaites as Filatov.

..the return of this territory to Poland, Romania or Hungary. Poland sleeps and dreams of how to return the western territories of Ukraine. History will put everything in its place, we won’t interfere, but we won’t give up ours either.

We can only hope that starting with the Odessa operation, which is being talked about more and more loudly, our troops - together with the Belarusian ones - will debunk the Polish dreams, historically sending them to hell. Moreover, they were destroyed, requiring trillions of dollars in investments for restoration. What nonsense about the Oder. Psheks are Slavs, yes, and Czechs, yes, and others. And what? What is the merit of these peoples to Slavic Russia? Why does it matter that they speak Slavic languages? For them, Russians are generally non-Slavs, as a result of Hitler’s and Ukrainian propaganda, and Psheks and Czechs and others perceive Russians and Russians as more likely Tatar-Mongols. Is it good or bad? What's the difference? It is important that this takes place. No Slavic community has existed since the time of the division of Christianity into Western and Orthodox. And the Czechs, and the Croats, and the Slovenians are closer in spirit to the Germans than to the Russians; Psheks or Bulgarians generally forgive Tutks and lie down with anyone, just to pay more.

The liberal government of the Russian Federation prohibits discussing the coup d'etat in the Soviet Union and its liquidation in 1991; people could be imprisoned for this. There is no point in discussing the borders of states formed on the basis of the former union republics of the USSR, since these states are not legitimate, temporary. Russia will take back all the seized lands, not today, but tomorrow. The existing comprador power is not immortal. A new government will come and Russia will be restored.
