The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a long-range missile attack on Mariupol

At 00:25 Moscow time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired three long-range missiles at Mariupol. This was reported by the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine.

After 00:00, shelling was recorded from the Ukrainian Federal Unitary Forces in the direction: 0:25 – three long-range missiles were fired from the north-west in the direction of the settlement of Mariupol
 
– says the representative office’s message on the Telegram channel.



The type of missiles is not specified, but, according to preliminary data, it could be the MGM-140A ATACMS Block I operational-tactical ballistic missile or the 227-mm M31A1 GMLRS guided missile.


The enemy launched a precision strike on targets behind Port City. A large fire was observed and firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene.

The day before, Russian MiG-31 aircraft released three hypersonic missiles at the Starokonstantinov airfield. This is the main base for Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft, which carry Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles.
