Czech President knows how to solve the INF Treaty

The well-known European statesman, President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman told the media what, in his opinion, is the solution to the current situation around the INF Treaty. Popularly elected for the second time, Zeman is a serious irritant for London and Washington in Central Europe.

For example, in May 2018, he reported that London’s attacks on Moscow over poisoning by a “newcomer” in British Salisbury were not fair. He specified that it was his beloved Czech Republic in 2017 that produced in small quantities, tested and destroyed the nerve agent A-230 (this is one type of toxic substance). And his statement caused a storm of indignation on the shores of "Misty Albion."

And in October 2018, the Czech president went against the United States and, together with the Hungarian president, ignored the anti-Russian proposals of Poland and Slovakia at the summit of the Visegrád Group (four). And now Zeman spoke out on the urgent problem for every adequate European, not wanting to become a victim of missile confrontation. After all, shortly before that, the United States, in the words of its Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, presented Russian ultimatum on INF Treaty.

If there are technical parameters of these missiles that violate this agreement either from the Russian or the American side, it is very simple to show these parameters and agree. Of course, I want all the treaties to exist, because getting away from these treaties is an arms race

- said Zeman.

It should be noted that Zeman was elected for the first time in March 2013 in direct elections. In 2018, the majority of Czech citizens again voted for him. Until 2013, the Czech President was elected behind the scenes, and then both houses of parliament notified the population.
