SBU conducts mass searches in the homes of priests of the Moscow Patriarchate
After the Western public didn’t even raise an eyebrow, when the SBU searched the home of the governor of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel, Petro Poroshenko realized his complete impunity in such matters, which is frankly said in a few days. And so, searches at the objects of the UOC-MP and in the homes of priests began in other places.
Police officers and SBU officers conduct joint searches in the offices of the dioceses of the UOC-MP in Zhitomir, Korosten, Ovruch, and Kiev. Only in one Zhytomyr region eight searches were carried out. The SBU itself cannot cope with such a volume, so the police were sent to help. In the Ukrainian media this is presented as a dictatorship of “dignity”.
In fact, before us is a primitive attempt to get the representatives of the UOC-MP to take part in the "unifying" cathedral. At the same time, those who refuse will face charges under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the equal rights of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs).
And there is no doubt that this will continue in other regions of the country, which will become known very soon. After all, it was not in vain that martial law was introduced in those areas where the influence of the UOC MP is most strong. Whether representatives of the UOC-MP will go to martyrdom or agree with the point of view of Poroshenko, we will soon find out.
