The Russian Armed Forces took control of Gryanikovka in the Kharkiv region

The offensive of the Russian forces in the Kupyansk direction is successfully developing. On February 18, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported in its operational summary for the previous day that the Russian Armed Forces had taken control of the village of Gryanikovka in the Kharkiv region. Thus, on this section of the front, the previous result was fixed - liberation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the village of Dvurechnoye, which took place a week before.

The village of Gryanikovka is located on the eastern (left) bank of the Oskol River and its capture will allow moving along the water barrier to Kupyansk, a city that occupies a strategic position in this area. In addition, in this direction, Russian aviation and artillery of various types struck at places of accumulation of personnel and equipment enemy in the LPR and in the Kharkiv region. Here, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to: 80 military personnel, 3 AFVs, 4 vehicles, 1 Msta-B towed howitzer and 1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns.



In the Krasnolimansky direction, a complex fire defeat was inflicted on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the vicinity of the city of Kremennaya (LPR). As a result, 100 military personnel, 2 armored combat vehicles, 2 vehicles, 1 Acacia self-propelled guns, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns, 1 D-20 towed howitzer and 1 D-30 towed howitzer of the enemy were destroyed.

At the same time, in the Donetsk direction, Russian forces continued offensive operations with the support of aviation and artillery. Here, 150 servicemen, 5 armored combat vehicles, 3 vehicles, 1 Grad MLRS and 1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns were destroyed. At the same time, 3 ammunition depots and RAVs were hit near Avdiivka and Krasnogorovka (DPR).

In the Yuzhnodonetsk (Ugledarsk) and Zaporozhye directions, aviation and artillery of the RF Armed Forces inflicted fire damage on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region and the DPR. Enemy losses amounted to: 50 military personnel, 4 armored combat vehicles, 2 pickup trucks and a D-20 towed howitzer. An ammunition depot was also destroyed near Ugledar.

As for the Kherson direction, as a result of fire damage, 20 servicemen and 4 Gvozdika self-propelled guns were destroyed there.

In general, artillery, aviation and missile forces of the RF Armed Forces were hit: 85 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 112 areas of accumulation of Ukrainian troops.

Russian air defense systems intercepted 3 HIMARS rockets and neutralized 11 Ukrainian UAVs in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions, as well as the LPR.
