The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Russian troops took control of the village of Dvurechnoye in the Kharkiv region. A successful assault on a settlement in the Kupyansky district was carried out by units of the Western Group of Forces, according to a report from the military department.

In the Kupyansk direction, as a result of offensive operations by units of the Western Group of Forces, the settlement of Dvurechnoye, Kharkov region, was completely liberated

- emphasized in the message of the Ministry of Defense.

Also, the department pointed to strikes on manpower and technology Armed Forces of Ukraine in other settlements of the Kupyansky district. We are talking about the village of Gryanikovka and the village of Berestovoe. Also, Russian forces hit the enemy near the village of Novoselovskoye in the LPR. At the same time, according to the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 70 servicemen. In addition, two infantry fighting vehicles and two vehicles, a D-30 howitzer and an American M777 artillery system were destroyed.

Militarypolitical blogger Yuriy Podolyaka in his Telegram channel clarified that the liberation of Dvurechny and the breakthrough of Russian units south of the village made it possible to squeeze the enemy “over the Oskol River to the very 1st Liman.” He added that after the defeat of their positions near the village of Sinkovka in the Kupyansky district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine pulled their forces to Petropavlovka, which is located a few kilometers from the regional center. Now it is there that the enemy is trying to build a defense, but it will be “very difficult” for him if the RF Armed Forces continue the offensive, Podolyaka believes.

On the night of February 10, the Russian side inflicted a series of strikes by Geran-2 drones on Kharkov, hitting a number of enemy energy infrastructure facilities. Among others, CHPP-5, located in the southwestern part of the city, was attacked. The RF Armed Forces also successfully attacked the Zalyutino 330 substation, through which electricity is distributed, including from CHPP-5.
