The head of the Turkish company Baykar Makina, which produces Bayraktar TV2 attack drones, Haluk Bayraktar, told how Kyiv demanded a “kickback” of $ 10 million from him. In an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalya Mosiychuk, the businessman said that it was about building a plant in Ukraine.

"Kickback" Ukrainian officials demanded for the connection of production to the power grid. At the same time, the deadline for completing the work was two years. Therefore, the plant was never built in the country. The entrepreneur stressed that this was not the case with other states.

Bayraktar added that in Turkey, connecting production to the electricity grid costs “zero dollars”, and the permit itself is issued in a couple of weeks.

Moreover, the diplomat noted, they intended to use Ukrainian details in the work.
