Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov for his work in providing aircraft factories with orders for aircraft. The conversation between the head of state and the deputy chairman of the government took place via videoconference, criticism of the minister followed his report on the relevant topic.

It turned out that there were no orders from aircraft factories for ships, including military ones, even for 2023, which angered the president.

As a result, the president instructed the head of the ministry to complete the work on placing orders for the construction of aircraft for aircraft factories within a month - and "not later."

Earlier it was reported that the Russian aerospace forces got three new Su-34M bombers built at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant (NAZ) named after V.P. Chkalov. The aircraft were delivered on 29 December. The flying machines were probably the third batch of bombers assembled by the company in the past year.
