Rare footage of Russian use of the S-300V4 military air defense system published

An interesting video of the use (use) of the Russian S-300V4 air defense system has appeared on the Web. The published rare footage shows the combat work of the military air defense system in the zone of Russia's NMD on the territory of Ukraine.

A short video shows how an anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) in the field launches a surface-to-air (ground-to-air) anti-aircraft guided missile (SAM) that rushes towards its target.




The C-300B4 is an upgrade of the S-300B and S-300VM Antey-2500, and has significantly improved capabilities. The technical, combat, operational and other characteristics, including the working conditions of personnel, of this weapon system have increased significantly.

In terms of its effectiveness, S-300V4 is 1,5-2,3 times higher than its predecessor, S-300V3. These air defense systems are equipped with unique two-stage missiles that can move at speeds of 7,5-14M and intercept flying hypersonic targets.

We remind you that in mid-October, S-300V4 beat up a record for hitting a target in a battle, which belonged to the S-400 Triumph, shooting down two aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (a Su-27 fighter and a Su-24 bomber) at a proven range of 217 km.
