Three shame of the USA

Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, recalled the three main shameful wars unleashed by the United States in recent years. The Russian parliamentarian made his statement in response to words Donald Trump regarding Russia's activities in Syria. The American president considered this activity a "shame."

Three shame of the USA

... The word "shame", I think, does not fit with our activities. Rather, it is a shame for the United States for the fragmented Libya, which actually lost its statehood, for the dismemberment of Yugoslavia, for the war in Iraq, unleashed on the basis of only a fake test tube by Colin Powell

- said the deputy, adding:

They, it seems, did not understand what they had done.

Slutsky accused the United States of having to lower the role of Russia and its allies in resolving the Syrian crisis, and also ascribe to themselves the victory over terrorism. While it was Washington that contributed in many respects to the emergence of such a force in the Middle East as ISIS (an organization banned in Russia)

Recall that in 1999 the United States became the main organizer of air raids on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which lasted almost three months and led to the deaths of thousands of civilians. In 2003, an American-British invasion of Iraq followed, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. In 2011, Washington was one of the active participants in the military operation against the Libyan Jamahiriya, as a result of which this state was destroyed, and the territory of Libya turned into a terrorist nest. Years after the wars unleashed by the United States, in all of these affected states, there is not even a lasting peace in the world.

We can add to the senator's words that the United States of America unleashed two more shameful wars: in Syria and in the Donbass. Unfortunately, the American leadership is only continuing attempts to change power in individual countries, which ultimately leads to a destabilization of the situation, and even to a bloody armed conflict.

In addition, the danger carries policy double standards, when Washington, together with its satellites, blames all crimes on one side of the conflict and “does not notice” what the others are doing. And now the US is blaming the Syrian authorities for the deaths of the "civilian population" of East Ghouta (Damascus province), ignoring the frequent bombardment by terrorists who settled in the area of residential quarters in the Syrian capital.

Earlier, in September 2015, the question "Do you even understand now what you have done?" asked by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the UN General Assembly, bearing in mind the adventurous policy of lovers of "exporting revolutions" in the Middle East.
