During the tests, "Zircon" successfully hit a conditional target in the Barents Sea. The ministry said that launching and hitting a sea target with a missile was recognized as successful.

According to the plans of the Ministry of Defense, state tests of the rocket will be completed by the end of this year. "Zirconia" are going to equip multipurpose submarines of project 885M "Yasen-M", frigates of project 22350, as well as the upgraded missile cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov".
