In response to the terrorist attacks staged by militants in Afghanistan on Thursday May 26, Joseph Biden issued an order to prepare a large-scale attack on the positions of IS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). Against the background of the efforts of NATO countries to evacuate their troops and civilians, this can greatly worsen the internal political and military situation in this country.

In anticipation of the intensification of hostilities by the United States, three American KC-135 tanker aircraft moved to the Afghanistan region.




According to media reports, two explosions that thundered in Kabul on Thursday killed about 100 people and injured more than 900 people. The first suicide bombing at the Baron Hotel killed more than 10 Americans and Britons.

Tensions are also exacerbated by shelling of planes taking off from the Kabul airport. So, on the eve of the militants opened fire by the military transport C-130J of the Italian Air Force. On board the aircraft were media representatives and 98 Afghan citizens. During the incident, none of the passengers and crew members were injured.

Earlier, American officials close to the White House administration noted the high rate of evacuation of US citizens from Afghanistan. At the same time, Washington's actions are complicated by the difference in time zones. To add significance, some compare the current United States measures to the organization of the Berlin Air Bridge in 1949, when the Allies were delivering food to the western part of the German capital, which was blocked by Soviet troops.
