Verification of the reliability of the nuclear arsenal has begun in Russia

On the territory of the Central nuclear test site of the Russian Ministry of Defense, located on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, Russian experts are conducting experiments to confirm the reliability of the ammunition of the nuclear arsenal. Major General Igor Kolesnikov, head of the 12th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Kolesnikov, who is in charge of nucleartechnical provision and security in the military department.

Kolesnikov noted that Moscow adheres to the previously signed and ratified Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. In this regard, only "non-nuclear explosive experiments" are carried out at the test site. For over 30 years, there has not been a single nuclear explosion at the test site.



I must say that the United States of America is working in exactly the same direction, and is also conducting the same experiments in Nevada.

In total, over 130 nuclear tests were carried out at the test site before the CTBT agreement. The video also shows the harsh climatic conditions of the Russian Arctic.

Note that before this, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev saidthat in the event of a real threat to Russia, Moscow will deliver a preemptive strike against the enemy.
