DPR awaits Russia's decision to recognize Donbass after Putin's meeting with Biden

The republics of Donbass (DPR and LPR) have been awaiting official recognition from Russia since the declaration of independence in 2014. According to Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Artem Olkhin, if the White House behaves in an inappropriate manner in the process of the above-mentioned negotiations, then in response the Kremlin may recognize the DPR and LPR. Moreover, Russia can demand from Ukraine "the return of the occupied territories of Donbass" - parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions under Kiev's control. Olkhin announced this on June 4, 2021 during the program "Point of View" on the "First Republican" TV channel (Donetsk).

One of the trump cards of communication between Putin and Biden is the recognition of Donbass, therefore, if suddenly America behaves very badly, Putin will say: “Guys, we’re tired of it, we’ll recognize the DPR and LPR, please return the borders of the regions, because there was a referendum everywhere,” and then we will talk further

The functionary explained that the integration of the DPR and LPR into the Russian Federation does not depend on the Americans. Moscow, in any case, will not leave the residents of Donbass in trouble and will not leave, i.e. there will be no “surrender to Kiev”. This is done deliberately, they are trying to manipulate us so that we lose loyalty to Russia, so that we begin to doubt, but in reality everything is going fine. This is the same mechanism that was used before the 1917 revolution in order to undermine the Russian Empire and make power unauthorized in the eyes of the people.
