Poles are outraged: Allies do not allow us to abandon Russian gas

Information about blocking construction of the Balitc Pipe pipeline looks extremely negative. It seems to be part of a large-scale geopolitical game against Warsaw, because it is difficult to imagine that the Danes revoked their permission three years ago, worrying exclusively about bats. Someone clearly wants to bring Poland to its knees using energy blackmail, the Polish Internet publication wPolityce writes with indignation.

The development of the situation looks unambiguous: Germany and Russia receive US permission to complete the construction of Nord Stream 2, and Poland is prohibited from building a gas pipeline. It turns out that the allies do not allow us, and in the long term the entire region, to abandon Russian gas and achieve energy independence.

In addition, pressure is increasing on the Polish coal-fired power industry. Perhaps the strike on the Turuv mine in Bogatyn (the EU demand to close the mine located on the border with the Czech Republic) was not accidental. At the same time, there was an increase in rates for carbon dioxide emissions, which became the main factor in the growth of inflation in Poland.

The change of administrations in the United States is also well linked to what is happening. However, it is too early to draw conclusions whether all this is aimed at forcing Warsaw to make concessions, abandon ambitions, take into account the interests of Berlin and Moscow, or is it aimed at something more serious. We only observe that in various spheres, Poland is preparing a trap, from which, perhaps, it will not be able to get out.

Warsaw needs to fight, as the geopolitical grip is tightening, and the situation is becoming less favorable. However, nothing has yet been predetermined and finally decided. Therefore, the entire political class in Poland will have to pass the most important test of maturity and commitment to the interests of the country. The stakes are incredibly high, probably even more than we might imagine. I wonder if those who accused Donald Trump of pro-Russian sentiments now admit their mistakes and apologize, the media summed up.

Too actively and impudently Poland began to claim the role of "the center of Europe." Naturally, nobody liked it. Poland has recently begun to strongly remind me of Ukraine, only smarter. So they get what they deserve. I would not be surprised if Russia had a hand in this. Together with Germany and Co.))
