Why the US urgently needed a base in the Caspian

9
Persistent rumors arose about the opening of an American military base in Kazakhstan and the possible emergence of US Navy ships on the Caspian Sea. If this is true, then the Kazakh leadership will violate the agreements concluded between the participating countries of the Caspian Club.

The club includes five countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Azerbaijan. The entire Caspian coast belongs only to these countries. And, of course, they share among themselves and the entire water area of the sea.

Afghan trace in US-Kazakh accords

To the rumors about the possible appearance of American warships in the Caspian Sea with the assistance of Kazakhstan, this country reacted very quickly. Representatives of the Kazakh embassy in Moscow officially stated that this information is not true.

There are two reasons why the statement of Kazakhstan can be considered true. Firstly, there is an agreement between the Caspian countries that the armed forces of only the states of the Caspian Club can be present on the Caspian Sea, and their violation can cause serious trouble. And the second reason is that the Caspian Sea is not really a sea. The Caspian is simply a large lake that does not have a natural outlet to the oceans. This means that no American ship will sail there under its own power.

In fact, Kazakhstan provides the USA with commercial cargo transit services to Afghanistan, where the American military contingent is located. After deteriorating relations with Pakistan, the Americans began to look for other options for transport links with Kabul. With Russia, which also provided similar services earlier, the Americans today are not developing the best relations. Then the choice fell on transit through Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Or is it all about Iran?

There is also a version that Afghan transit is a cover for other, hidden goals of the Americans. Some experts believe that the main goal of the United States is Iran, where they, together with the allies, are preparing an invasion.

Please note that talk about the appearance of the US military in Kazakhstan takes place in parallel with the new velvet revolution in Armenia, which is unknown how it will end. Perhaps the United States is "encircling" Iran on all sides, like wolves with red flags. And this ring includes the former Soviet republics, Kazakhstan and Armenia.

Most experts believe that the intensification of contacts between the US and Kazakhstan will not affect the agenda of negotiations between the countries of the Caspian Club. And in Kazakhstan, they should understand that America is far away, and Russia and Iran are very close.

You do not need to have "seven spans in the forehead" to understand everything against Iran. Israel has finally decided on its intention to solve the "Iranian problem" in the shortest possible time. Hence the US actions in the Caspian.

The author of the article repeats my thoughts voiced a little earlier https://topcor.ru/1083-rossiya-ne-dopustit-poyavleniya-amerikancev-na-kaspii.html

I beg you, neither the Anglo-Saxons nor our CSTO allies have anything eternal ....

What could be the base in the Caspian there !! ?? How will they transfer their fleet there by air !! ?? Between the nearest bases is the Caucasian ridge, as well as China and Iran! Although, every little thing, in a disassembled form, can be airplanes! But most importantly, in the Caspian, there are no neutral waters! So, you have to ... sit in the ports of Mangyshlak and Guryev! It is safe!

We can only build versions, and what we are planning in the USA, Kazakhstan or Iran, we certainly cannot know.
There is also such a factor. If Kazakhstan provides its US territory for an attack on Iran, it runs the risk of being hit back by Iran.

Stop breeding enemies. If Nazarbayev begins to suit the Americans in the Caspian, he should be discharged in full. With all the burning consequences. That this Kazakh spirit was not 100 km near the Caspian Sea. Enough for us "Ukrainian friends" ...

If the States really get permission from Kazakhstan to a naval base, then it is not necessary for the ships to go there on their own.
They (ships) can simply be built in the Caspian. And there is power. This is a Baku shipyard. After all, the Caspian does not need aircraft carriers and cruisers. A class of frigate is enough.
Another thing, what should Russia do in such a situation?
I hope such options are being worked out by the country's leadership.
