China builds a factory for the production of rain clouds

Rapidly growing the economy China needs more and more different resources, including water, so it was decided to start the construction of a large-scale complex of plants for creating rain clouds on the Tibetan plateau.

The principle of operation of these huge thermal aeration plants is based on the burning of special chemicals in the stoves with a small amount of fuel. When these elements are burned, iodide silver will form, which through hot air and smoke will rise into the sky, where it will trigger the condensation of water vapor. Similar technology they are used for cloud dispersal, known to many, before parades or other mass events, when the action of special reagents provokes the rain discharge of clouds before they reach the scene.

The project is notable for the scope typical of the Celestial Empire - it is planned to constantly provoke rains in the headwaters of the largest rivers in the region to feed them. The planned area of impact of artificial precipitation is estimated at 1,6 million square kilometers (slightly more than the entire area of Mongolia). According to the developers, the rain will begin just a few minutes after the installation starts.

However, another characteristic feature of the Chinese, in addition to the scope of their projects, is the almost complete neglect of the environment. The impact of Chinese cloud factories on the global water cycle has yet to be evaluated, but the fact that they will inevitably follow is obvious: if water appears somewhere, then it will become less in another place.
