Russia will be able to quickly transfer the Navy from the West to the East

22
Russia's ambitious plans to develop the Arctic cause extreme irritation in the United States and among its allies. The rich natural resources deposits of the continental shelf do not give them peace, and the Northern Sea Route is the shortest water artery connecting the West and the East. It is believed that Washington imposed sanctions on the Russian shipbuilding industry in order to slow down the program for creating a modern icebreaker fleet. However, this question has more than just economic, but also the military dimension, which is well aware of the Pentagon.

Our country has the longest coastline. The Baltic, Northern, Black Sea, Pacific Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla are called upon to protect the water borders of the Russian Federation. The Northern Fleet is the “youngest” and at the same time the strongest in the Russian Navy. The heavy nuclear missile cruiser Peter the Great and our only aircraft carrier cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov are assigned to it. Its priority is the protection of the Arctic, however, ships of the Northern Fleet often perform tasks in the oceans.

The Pacific Fleet of Russia, on the contrary, does not shine with its combat capabilities. In the Asia-Pacific region, he is inferior to all his potential opponents - the US Navy, China, Japan, and South Korea. Even Thailand has its own light aircraft carrier. The situation is aggravated by the fact that our Pacific Fleet is also the same isolated from all the other Russian Navy. It is enough to recall how, at its death a hundred years ago, Rozhdestvensky's squadron went to Tsushima for more than six months around half the globe.

Good news lies in the fact that now much can change.

At present, Russia has launched a series of heavy-duty icebreakers of the Leader class LK-120Ya. Their capabilities will be unparalleled throughout the world. “Leaders” will be able to lay 50 meters wide wormwood on the Northern Sea Route even in winter time, which will be enough to guide even an aircraft carrier. This means that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will receive a unique opportunity to perform the inter-theater maneuver by the forces of the fleets. In just 2,3-3 weeks, the Northern Fleet will be able to strengthen the Pacific, or, conversely, the Pacific Fleet will come to the aid of the North. The situation in the relevant theater will quickly improve in our favor.

Previously, this option was available only to nuclear submarines. Thanks to the "Leaders", the Russian Navy, without asking anyone for permission, will be able to transfer large surface ships from West to East via the NSR all year round. A series of at least three such super-icebreakers is planned. In addition, a series of five icebreakers LK-60Y of the Arctic project is being completed.

And our ships, do they have ice hull fortifications? This is necessary even for movement behind the icebreaker. And even more so in the winter.

Stumble. Understand, why all this is necessary.
And it would be nice to understand why the Russian Navy.

Or maybe, in your opinion, in general, to dissolve Russia to the joy of its ENEMIES! You, or a troll, or a halfwit!

That's the problem that breathing easy will not work. This is for YOU. And there will be nothing to eat EVERYTHING.
Typically, poor countries with poor populations contain the navy in an extremely truncated composition. It would be nice to look at their experience and the Russian Federation.
It’s time to stretch legs on clothes.

Aircraft carriers of drones will help the Pacific Fleet. They are much cheaper and more compact. Nimble drone operators are needed.

Icebreakers are good, but it would be better to invest in your own army and navy, and not spend them on Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and the Tajik government ... ..... Russia needs a modern fleet and only destroyers like Leader can keep the enemy away from the coast RF, not icebreakers, of which of course there is a benefit.

It would be much more effective and efficient to form two "Dagger" divisions in the Northern Fleet and the Pacific Fleet. As part of the division:
    - two MiG-31K regiments
    - regiment Tu-22M3M
    - 4 units A-50U
This is just the most necessary and effective weapon against the AUG, which can be obtained within a few years (up to 25-27gg).
The construction of icebreakers and warships will be an order of magnitude more expensive and several times longer in time.
If Russia has chosen the path of "asymmetric" responses, then "Daggers" are exactly what is needed now in order to quickly and relatively inexpensively ensure the security of the "Russian" part of the Arctic and the Far Eastern region from the aggression of the United States, Japan, and later China .. ...

      Thank you,

      Please.
A large surface fleet in poor Russia, this is a real wrecking.
It may be possible to admit two (this is the maximum) frigates as the flagships of two (this is the maximum) fleets, the Northern and Pacific. Other large ships (and fleets) are money down the drain. Which are NOT.
The rest of the fleet should be a mosquito and serve as a service for submarines. Which should also be few, because Russia is a very, very poor country (20th place in the world).

    Icebreakers are good.
The Navy, however, will not help in the near future in any way.
    Nothing much to throw.

And extreme irritation - ento fantasies from a voluntary trench.
In fact, we voluntarily surrendered a little bottom with Norwegian oil, and the terrible USA is in no hurry to develop even Alaska. It’s cold, expensive, and there’s no one to trade at the pole with.

Russia is a rich country for money, if you do not steal and throw hundreds of billions into Olympiads and other mega-projects.
And you, sorry, a military expert of some kind, well known, if you understand better than others what the Navy is and why it is needed?
It will not be difficult for you to decipher and introduce yourself?

Yes expert. Tell you which fleet Sweden has (18th richest in the world), Mexico (19th richest in the world), Israel (21st richest in the world) and Singapore (22nd place of wealth in the world)?
Sweden has 5 submarines (small) and 9 corvettes (in service). And a little thing. And in terms of Sweden’s wealth, this is 144,6% of Russia.

He’s pissed off, Sergei. They are all "heroes" behind the eyes, and as soon as you bring the light to them, they immediately begin to mimic. They were like that in the USSR (only there it was scary to "piss against the wind") and it's good that all rot creeps out, at least here - it's easier to sweat all these potential traitors ...

This issue has long been worked out by the Navy of the USSR, and then by RUSSIA.
