A step away from the war: oil tankers are already burning off the coast of Iran

2
On the eve of June 12, an attack on tankers Front Altair and Kokuka Courageous carried cargo of naphtha and methanol, respectively, occurred in the Gulf of Oman. A series of explosions occurred, fires began on the ships. The crews, among which were Russians, were evacuated by Iranian rescue services and safely delivered to shore.

According to preliminary data, tankers are attacked by torpedoes. Recall, a month earlier, day after day, a terrorist attack was also recorded on a raid of the Arab Emirate of Al Fujairah also against several tankers stationed in an external raid. What is happening and who is leading the way to regional war?

At an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, the United States of America, wasting no time in vain, blamed Iran for the attack:

We believe that the Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible for the attacks that occurred in the Gulf of Oman.

As evidence of their allegations, the Americans provided a video of extremely low quality, on which a boat, similar to those used by the IRGC, approaches the ship, and his crew removes something that the U.S. intelligence identified as a bomb from the tanker. Where and at what time the recording was made is not entirely clear. Tehran categorically denies any involvement in sabotage. Who should be trusted more?

Recall that all this happens against the background of another round of American sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Donald Trump decided to withdraw from the so-called "nuclear deal" and completely isolate Iran. According to Washington, Iranian oil should be squeezed out of the world market. An unpleasant surprise for Tehran was Beijing's refusal to purchase "black gold".

Iran’s representatives have repeatedly stated that in response to economic the blockade will be the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which Middle Eastern monarchies drive hydrocarbons for export. This can be done by flooding a large vessel in its narrow part, or by starting a "hunt for tankers." Gulf of Oman, where an emergency has already occurred twice, is part of this important waterway. But, in reality, the closure of Hormuz will mean a full-scale military operation against Iran by the United States and its allies. The Pentagon has already flown its carrier group to the region and announced plans to deploy 120 troops.

It seems that some people decided to catch the Iranians on the word, since it is Tehran that is the least interested in giving reasons for the coalition's attack on it. And who could it be?

In fact, there are quite a few options. This is the United States itself, and Israel, which is unfavorable for the strengthening of Iran in Syria, and the Sunni Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Riyadh is extremely concerned about the support of the Hussites from the Shiite Iran, which he successfully renders in Yemen against the Saudi invaders. Moreover, the Yemenis are delivering sensitive retaliatory strikes on the territory of the Kingdom itself.

Note that the attack occurred at a time when the leading powers of Europe and Asia are trying to relieve tension around the Islamic Republic. The German Foreign Minister asked Tehran not to get out of the "nuclear deal." And Japanese Prime Minister Abe is on an official visit right now in the capital of Iran. Tokyo counts on easing sanctions and diversifying hydrocarbon supplies from Iranian oil, which is completely not in the interests of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. By the way, both attacked tankers carried cargo to Japan.

It turns out that there are quite a lot of beneficiaries from the next provocation. Some would say that Saudi tankers were damaged a month ago, and that gives Riyadh an alibi. But what is this for the richest Middle Eastern monarchy? Moreover, the Saudis in the recent history of "dissecting" proved that they are not afraid to get their hands dirty.

For some reason, nothing has been said to the benefit of the crisis or war for Russia.
    And they are not enough.
Accordingly, Russia can be called the author of the explosions.
This is when using the logic of the author of the article.

You can not call Russia, even if you use the logic of the author.
Because Russia in its entire thousand-year history has never used such methods to obtain benefits or solve foreign policy problems.
