The Golunov case: three uncomfortable conclusions

42
The extremely ambiguous story of the journalist of the Medusa publication, Ivan Golunov, in which it is not even clear what seems more doubtful - his swift arrest or even more swift release and whitewashing, makes you think about many things. But, above all, not over those that so carefully stick out today to the fore. No one says that such things as “corruption of government officials” or “arbitrariness of law enforcement” in the country do not exist. However, as the brief but dizzying odyssey of the journalist shows, and, in particular, the events that immediately followed her, the story is not about them! And not about Golunov, by the way ... What then? Well, at least let's try to figure it out and draw conclusions.

Are there too many coincidences?

The fact that everything that happened was just bursting out and regularly publicized as “the manifestation of system defects” could be believed, if not ... If not for a few completely obvious facts. The first of them is the absolute coincidence of the dates of the incompetent detention of Golunov and the opening of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, at which Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a keynote speech and Chinese President Xi Jinping attended. What did it lead to in the end? And at least to the fact that according to the analysis of the Russian media, the “Golunov theme” completely interrupted the Forum events, the president’s words, and the unprecedented volumes of contracts signed at the event. The country lived by one thing - a “trumped-up affair” against a priori recognized innocent representative of the “creative class”. By the way, the campaign that immediately broke out in all the media in support of him, involuntarily suggests not only corporate solidarity, but also thorough training.

The second point, again, is the "coincidence" of the senseless and merciless "march in support" of the journalist arranged by the Russian liberal-democratic party, who had long been at large by the time the event began, celebrating Russia Day. Most likely, here we have just the cognitive dissonance of the organizers who were unable to stop the already running process. But initially the intentions were quite definite. Well, and finally, the third - about the same protests that “suddenly” struck in distant Hong Kong. Essentially, they are frankly anti-Chinese. As for me, everything that happens is nothing short of an extremely harsh and prompt reaction of the West to SPIEF and the visit of the leader of the Celestial Empire to Russia that preceded it. The rapid rapprochement that began between the two countries seemed to scare and infuriate very serious people. The right word doesn’t leave the sensation of a diabolical “deja vu”: in the television series “Sleeping”, which was ideally lying on current events, the main goal of our “friends”, I remember, there was just a breakdown of the Russian-Chinese agreement.

Are "sleeping" everywhere?

Continuing the associations with the aforementioned series and using the term that has become common thanks to it, I would venture to suggest that we are dealing with a brilliantly executed operational combination. Hats off ... The Sleepers start and win! About how widely this low-esteemed category, judging by recent events, is represented in some domestic mass media and certain political circles, we will not speak. Why repeat the well-known? Now - about something else. I will not argue that no one planted drugs on Golunov, although he was released and acquitted, as far as we know, not for “lack of corpus delicti,” but for “lack of evidence,” that is, for lack of evidence. People who are at least a little bit versed in legal intricacies will understand the difference. But all the same, suppose - thrown. So after all, within the framework of the version I put forward, this is exactly what it should have been! It is precisely such actions that are obliged to provoke a "wave of popular anger" that whirled up very "in time".

And this, you know, is the worst. Since such a scenario makes us suppose that the domestic law enforcement agencies have conserved agents of this class and rank, which makes it possible to turn “mnogohodovki” of far from an amateur level against the state. Most likely, after what happened in law enforcement agencies, large-scale personnel "cleanings" will begin. Actually, they have already begun. The main thing is that they should not be carried out about the principle: “We will figure out who is to blame, and we will punish anybody.” So that everything is not limited to a small bipod, "switchmen" and people generally accidentally landed "under the rink". It is, of course, necessary to get rid of gnarlings, tyrants, bribe takers and other “werewolves in uniform”. However, in this case, to search in the ranks (and not only the policemen!), It is necessary to “sleep”, who have shown what they are capable of not on the screen, but in reality. The supreme authority will give them new chances to prove themselves, to put it mildly, imprudently.

West does not hide triumph

Alas, I must admit - those goals, at least in the short term, those who started a provocation called the “Golunov case” have achieved. No, this is not a “Maidan”, but its far from ordinary rehearsal. It seems that he is not attracted to the general, but everything is organized seriously, soundly and with a distant sight. In order to be convinced of this, it is enough to look at least at the headlines of the Western media, and even better, to read the articles published there regarding the current events. The Atlantic: "Putin is losing control of the country's law enforcement." Radio Liberty: “The Kremlin has retreated, but the“ Golunov affair ”is still an isolated victory for Russian civil society.” Voice of America: "Russia is doomed to protests against a regime built on lawlessness." Well, and so on and so forth ... In almost all publications, what is happening is presented under the same "sauce": "the people of Russia are completely tired of the current government, the decline in their own standard of living, total bribery and censorship." Protests in the “Golunov case” is only the beginning!

Naturally, in all Western mass media, the "bloody suppression of peaceful protests", which "expectedly ended with mass arrests," relies in every way. The journalists and “opposition leaders” who had gathered for the initially illegal event, who dragged people there with the intent to expose them to batons, appear, of course, to be “the innocent victims of the regime,” and law enforcement officers who clean up the situation are satraps and holdimords. Everything, as always, in such cases ... Expected. The total hell that Ukraine is now plunged into just began with a show around the "murder" of journalist Gongadze, which, if at all, was not committed by those who were ultimately hanged on. Well, the owners of the "sleeping" do not like to change the established schemes. They do not see the need for this.

The most unpleasant conclusion is that the Russian government, as such, was completely unprepared for everything that had happened. All her actions in the process of events are feverish and unsystematic throwing, typical “tail-beating”. A tough reaction to an unauthorized "protest party" - this, perhaps, is right. But it's late. Oh, and that’s all backfire - in the process of the approaching presidential “direct line with the people”, I’m sure that the results will already be visible. And then ... However, it will be seen. One can only hope for a thoughtful, deep and uncompromising attitude towards everyone (and to oneself, first of all), "work on mistakes." Only now there seems to be not much time left for its holding. Our country is taken seriously and so far only the first act is unfolding before us, already directed and approved by the producers of the tragedy.

In conclusion, I will say: you can question and refute the conclusions set forth above as much as you like. Disagree with the author, swear and spit on him. He will somehow survive it ... However, in the end I dare to assure you - not on the basis of speculative constructions, but on the basis of more than sad real experience: when the smell of burning tires climbs into your windows, when a crowd of thousands roars under their breath in anticipation of blood " fighters for justice ”, in the blink of an eye sweeping away to hell with such a familiar and convenient world for you, it will be too late to draw any conclusions ...

The “Golunov theme” completely interrupted in it both the events of the Forum and the words of the president and the unprecedented volumes of contracts signed at the event. The country lived in one - “fabricated business”

But who cares about all this. Is it that the contracts, and how many have already been promised before? Real ones will be - they will remind you later, if necessary.
We laughed with a drug throw - the reaction of the government itself is so important. Threw up earlier. Whether there will be conclusions and cleanings is important. and 1-2 the culprit (as a senator or colonel) will always be found.

Not for nothing, like some unusual crime on the news - so often former security officials ....

Contacts, contracts, arrests ... SPIEF and so on in itself turned out to be zilch. There also gathered liberals, only systemic ones. They gave the people a bunch of unpleasant revelations. Like, they collected money from the people, but national projects are still not enough. This is Siluanov said. And Gref spoke out to Oreshkin that it is only necessary to work when the Duma requires it, and so bastards and get paid. Well, with Golunov, you don’t have to pedal all the time that he is a liberal journalist, you have to fight for all people of all views and professions. He was lucky, he was supported. And how many detainees are still in vain?

And "sleeping" must be fought by identifying unearned income and expenses. If a civil servant or his close relatives have cash accounts abroad, the family lives abroad, or often travels abroad, if huge real estate and luxury cars do not correspond to income, then such employees should be taken into development. Only those who take into development should not have all of the above.

They'll put ... they won't. The corruption of the authorities has already become a routine ... They ineptly concocted the case. We found a scapegoat ... And simply the struggle of the clans. Don't be fooled. Bad ... and when will this bad be remembered as heaven ??? In 89 it seemed how easy it was ... to overthrow the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and PARADISE! I am not a supporter of the current "vertical", but when you see the public in T-shirts with a ready-made sticker ... I DO NOT BELIEVE! Sent Cossacks!

An interesting situation has developed in Russia. If you want to become even a major drug dealer, then first become a "journalist", and even in some appointing rag with a circulation of 10 copies .. And you are not afraid of any drug control. In the most extreme case, this is house arrest for a period of 3 hours!

I absolutely agree with the author. The country is shaking. And the people are led to it.
Our compatriots very easily succumb to such provocations.
Then, realizing that they had broken firewood (ruining another country), everyone goes to failure. Say we are not to blame, this is the power has done everything.
As for the actions of the police, the country's leadership should take personnel measures. And clean law enforcement from non-professionals who allow such provocations.

so the whole ministry needs to be cleaned! there are such knots and plexuses that these Augean stables will clean for centuries) Putin had a chance to start from scratch after the election. But he decided to leave the former team of liberals and technocrats. And now it is slowly and faithfully drained. The people here are not to blame.
The boat is pumped by those in power. Power was shut off from the people outside the Kremlin. You can recall Putin’s speech on pension reform. Our people are patient. But patience comes to an end. Nobody wants a revolution. Everyone asks questions of power: how long will we endure all this? These colonels with billions in garages? And then Golikova comes out with the news that 50 percent of large families are below the poverty line. We collect children for treatment by SMS. And they have watches for tens of millions. Forest and electricity to China for a penny, and the Far East and Siberia are dying .. Why is such power needed? Selling, rotten, like a living corpse. You can bark at any amount on Navalny and others like them. But in the country it will explode without them. Then neither the riot police nor the Russian guard will help. And no one will think about the consequences. The people, with all their strength, endure and hope that there will be order in the country.

A citizen must fulfill his duties, and only then make claims to the state. But often this condition is not met, right? Hence my irony in relation to critics of power. The state of Russia was created by my dear great-grandfathers, I know for sure and specifically. If they were alive now, they would love me as I love my grandchildren. I must respect them and take care of what they have created. Of course I'm worried.

... The most unpleasant conclusion is that the power of Russia, as such, was completely unprepared for everything that happened ...

I will subscribe to each word of the article, and I can add more. The Golunov case arose before June 12, Independence Day, and the government openly caved in. It still comes around.
The Golunov case itself is very similar to a prepared special operation, and surprisingly resembles the half-forgotten Babitsky Case during the Chechen war, when the West also screamed about "Putin's persecution of democratic journalists."
Golunov, working for foreign media "Meduza", whose editorial office is located somewhere in Scandinavia, conducts "journalistic investigations" against Russian officials and the funeral mafia, constantly travels to report and invites abroad, and recently returned from such a trip.
It is easy to assume that Meduza's curators used Golunov to drain the drug police in the spring of information that Godunov was distributing drugs. Without any doubt, his colleagues (he is not a monk) and the "liberal community" have access to Golunov's apartment, so there is no problem to charge Golunov's apartment. The backpack, by the way, too.
The drug police with a clear conscience begins the operation, developing Golunov, and after the next information is realized, capturing Golunov red-handed. Drugs are found in Golunov’s backpack and in his apartment, the police are satisfied.
However, Golunov, as it turns out, is clean in body, there are no prints on the bags with drugs. Everything, the curtain. There is a police provocation, liberoids are screaming, the Western press is howling, the Russian authorities are putting them in their pants, and so much so that the case is closed "for lack of evidence" without investigation, Golunov has drugs, but at the same time, they seem to be absent, an investigation begins in relation to operas The Ministry of Internal Affairs Kolokoltsov, without any verification and investigation, appoints two generals guilty and asks them to fire them, which Putin happily does, and as an apotheosis, the State Dura proposes to liberalize / soften the articles of the Criminal Code regarding responsibility for drug trafficking.

Yes, everything is simpler) what are the machinations of the West? There is a divide in anticipation of the transit of power. The FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor’s office have their own clans. And Golunov is an opportunity to capture another piece of the influence pie. Therefore, the case was so quickly closed. Intra-family disassembly and nothing more.

The problem is that many actions of the state are also similar to a "special operation", only this time against its own people. And the trouble is that forces that are not at all attractive to the people can and are already trying to lead the people's discontent.
It turns out that at first they forced our government to show the wonders of market capitalism, and then "they began to poke their mugs in the face" of the same government.
