Syrian air defense repelled a rocket attack from Israel
Israel continues to launch rocket attacks on Syrian territory. This time, a blow was inflicted on the southern territories of the republic bordering Israel.
Arab television channel Al Ekhbariya reported that Israel’s missile attack was directed at Tell al-Hara hill in southern Syria, however, the Syrian air defense units successfully repelled it, shooting down several missiles.
According to separate reports, the work of Syrian air defense systems was observed in other regions of the country, in particular, in the Damascus region.
State television channel Syria TV reported that the Israelis began to use more sophisticated tactics during missile attacks, creating obstacles for the air defense systems of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Recall that Israel regularly shells the territory of Syria, justifying its actions by the fact that strikes are carried out at crowded places of Iranian units providing assistance to Damascus, or in response to missiles allegedly flying towards Israeli territory.
The previous rocket attack from Israel took place on June 3, when the military airfield T4 in the province of Homs was fired.
During the repulse of the attack, the Syrian air defense shot down two missiles. As a result, one person was killed, two were injured, and material damage was inflicted on the airfield.
