Border guards from the Finnish coast guard during patrolling the waters of the Gulf of Finland mistook the Russian yacht for a "three-headed monster." It is reported by the local edition of Ilta-Sanomat.

When the Finnish Coast Guard received a signal yesterday that an unidentified vessel was approaching, they did not expect to see anything unusual. But instead of an ordinary “vessel”, an unprecedented three-headed sea monster swam out to them from the fog.

Later, one of the border guard officers, Yarmo Hyakkinen, said:

For us, going out for identification of a vessel approaching the border is a common practice, but this time the case turned out to be more amusing.

When the unidentified ship came closer, it turned out that there was nothing supernatural and terrible in it. It is just that a Russian yacht with a crew of seven people, stylized as an old Russian boat, entered Finnish territorial waters. She travels through Finland and Sweden to Oslo, Norway, where she will take part in the festival. The Finnish border guards talked a bit with the captain of the yacht, after which she continued her voyage.

In addition to participating in the festival, the beauty of the boat will repeat the path of Prince Rurik, which he overcame in the 9th century during the resettlement of Varangian Rus to Staraya Ladoga. In total, the yacht expedition will last two years.
