MiG-35, T-90 and C-400: Russian plans for India did not like the USA

2
In India, the largest in the world by the number of voters elections ended. The victory was predictably won by the party led by Narendra Modi. Almost immediately, a reaction followed from Washington, which the victorious and incumbent Prime Minister, to put it mildly, was objectionable. The United States imposed duties on thousands of Indian goods, accusing Delhi of unfair competition.

In addition, the Americans increased pressure on India over the latter’s desire to acquire Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. This Asian country is the largest buyer of our weapons. The Indian army is more than 60% equipped with Russian or even Soviet weapons, including T-90 tanks, Su-30MKI fighters and much more.

At the same time, Delhi does not plan to stop there. A contract has already been signed for 460 of the latest T-90MS tanks, which will be assembled in India, but from Russian car kits. Active negotiations are underway to sell the MiG-35 light fighters to the Indians, who are participating in the tender along with the American F-16 (F-21 for the Indian market) and the French Rafale. Moreover, the victory of the Americans in the tender is estimated as the least likely.

Washington needs India not so much as a market for arms sales, but as a counterbalance to China's growing influence in the region. Russia, on the other hand, does not pursue any political goals, developing relationship with Delhi based on mutual benefit and friendship.

The countries of Eurasia need to increase trade among themselves. And exclude the dollar from this trade. Better yet, enter your own currency. Or introduce a gold standard. Then the American "sanctions" will be sidelined.
