Lyashko: The authorities are deceiving the Ukrainians about gas prices
The Ukrainian authorities are deceiving their citizens about gas prices and the reasons for their increase. This was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and the head of the Radical Party of Ukraine Oleg Lyashko on the channel "112 Ukraine".
The deputy claims that the cost of “blue fuel” in the country is artificially formed, not obeying the law of the market. This is confirmed by the fact that over the past three years in Europe, gas prices are at a very low level, while in Ukraine they are constantly growing. Lyashko believes that this is done by the will of the Kiev authorities.
Their statements sound very strange that they are not aware of the pricing procedure of Naftogaz. This can not be, because the company is state-owned. Its leaders are appointed by the government, to which they are required to report.
And the price policy Ukrainian oil and gas monopolist is based on the decision on the minimum cost of gas, adopted in 2017.
At the same time, Lyashko asks quite a question. If the Ukrainian authorities say they don’t know what Naftogaz is doing, then is there any kind of power in this country?
The parliamentarian believes that the International Monetary Fund dictates gas prices to Ukraine. And if the hero of the Ukrainian series “Servant of the People” Vasily Goloborodko sent representatives of this organization to a well-known deputy's address, then real president Vladimir Zelensky announced the continuation of close cooperation with the IMF.
