Kuchma called for the lifting of the blockade on the DNI and the LC

With the change of president in Ukraine, there were signs that policy Ukrainian authorities in relation to the Donetsk and Lugansk republics may change.

OSCE spokesman Martin Saidik said that Leonid Kuchma, appointed new president of Ukraine’s representative in Minsk, proposed to remove economic blockade with the LPR and the DPR. Saydik believes that if this proposal is put into practice, it will be a major breakthrough in the negotiations.

The message of the OSCE representative was confirmed by the representative of Russia Boris Gryzlov. According to him, the economic subgroup will work out a plan to implement the proposal of the ex-president of Ukraine.

Leonid Kuchma noted that for the first time all meetings of the working groups were held in such a constructive spirit. It is difficult to disagree with his words. Especially if you recall that under President Poroshenko, the representative of Ukraine was the near and not quite adequate Irina Gerashchenko, who deliberately went to a confrontation on any issue of negotiations.

Such a turn in the negotiation process inspires hope that many other issues in relations between the republics of Donbass and Ukraine, which are still at an impasse, will be resolved: ceasefire, exchange of prisoners, amnesty, return of Ukrainian pensions.

I think that is not connected

With the change of president in Ukraine ...

The economic blockade on the part of Russia and in Kiev are beginning to come to their senses. The lifting of the blockade with LDNR is necessary for Kiev to at least somehow stay afloat. Neither Donetsk nor Lugansk, nor Moscow is completely unprofitable. The first and unconditional demand is the withdrawal of heavy weapons and the cessation of shelling. Kuchma did not stutter about this? ... Well, let him go through the forest.

    Not by chance

The message of the OSCE representative was confirmed by the representative of Russia Boris Gryzlov. According to him, economic subgroup will work out a plan to implement the proposal of the ex-president of Ukraine.

Zelensky calls for tougher sanctions against Russia? Moscow is simply obliged to tighten sanctions against Ukraine and the EU.

Until de-banderization of Ukraine is carried out, all these attempts to achieve peace are futile. Only the red flag above the Reichstag gave the world PEACE!
