US offers 5 million dollars for dirt on North Korea

The US administration is ready to pay a huge amount for providing information that will allow it to increase the sanctions pressure on North Korea.

The cost of such information is estimated by the US State Department at $ 5 million. According to the South Korean television channel KBS News, information about this is posted on the website of one of the programs supervised by the state department.

The list of information about North Korea that interests the United States is very wide. Among other things, the following points can be mentioned:

- transshipment of any cargo on ships belonging to North Korea;

- North Korean citizens who work outside of North Korea and generate significant income for the North Korean government or the Workers Party of Korea;

- Enterprises or individuals located anywhere in the world that engage in prohibited North Korean trade;

- sale or shipment of North Korean weapons;

- Luxury items shipped to North Korea.

The cat-and-mouse game between the DPRK and the United Nations, as well as with the US particularly interested, began with the introduction of the first sanctions against Pyongyang.

Little North Korea, experiencing monstrous pressure, gets out of the way as it can: pumps oil from one tanker to another, fakes ship geolocation data and changes ship identifiers in the middle of the route.
