The Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) is responsible for generating official statistical information on the social, economic, demographic and environmental situation in Russia and, since April 3, 2017, has been under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development (Ministry of Economic Development). Rosstat regularly publishes a variety of statistics of particular interest.



For example, relatively recently appeared statistics on the average hourly accrued wages for employees in various sectors (fields) for 2018. Thus, thanks to the Federal State Statistics Service, it became known where the highest and where the lowest salaries in our country. This information is on the official website of the department.

For example, workers in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas receive about 793 rubles. in one hour of work. Tobacco workers earn 739 rubles. in one hour of work. At the same time, workers in the field of coke and petroleum products receive 734 rubles per hour of their work.

According to Rosstat, in 2018, the highest growth rate of salaries occurred in the field of healthcare and social services. Compared to 2017, hourly wages increased in these areas by 23% to 260 rubles. At the same time, in the field of oil production, wage growth did not exceed 8%, in the production of coke and petroleum products also 8%, and in the production of tobacco - 2,6%.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the lowest hourly wages in Russia are in the production of clothing - 188 rubles., In the field of crop production and livestock - 186,5 rubles., Production of leather goods - 181 rubles.
