The world's largest plane will not take off anymore

1
The largest in the world that recently committed his first flight, apparently, will never take off again. The closure of Stratolaunch Systems, which is the developer of the Stratolaunch Model 351 twin-carrier aircraft, was reported by Reuters.

The specific reasons for this step are not reported. Moreover, this information is allegedly confirmed by four independent sources.

Stratolaunch Systems was founded in 2011 by the American billionaire and co-founder of Microsoft Paul Allen, who passed away six months ago. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for curtailing work to create a carrier rocket for space rockets and the subsequent liquidation of the company.

However, a number of sources report that Stratolaunch Systems, together with intellectual property, may be sold to an interested party. Among them is called the Virgin Group of American billionaire Richard Branson, who also deals the creation of a carrier aircraft. However, this information has not yet been confirmed by anyone.

Recall, the Stratolaunch Model 351 is the largest aircraft ever created in the world. The wingspan reaches an astounding 117 meters (for comparison, the wingspan of the An-225 Mriya is 88,4 meters), with an empty weight of 227 tons. The maximum take-off weight is approaching 600 tons.

They are so happy that they still managed to land safely - the right fuselage had already touched all the wheels of the runway landing gear, and the left one was still a meter and a half ABOVE it and did not show any further that there was only jubilation and hugs from those who "arrived" and met ?!
Apparently, the swing in flight, relative to the main wing, in pitch and heading, the fuselages were quite asynchronous and "amplitude" - because the blowing, small, model is one thing, but the real flight of a built aircraft, especially such a large-sized one, is something completely different ?!
Yes, and apparently a dumb plane, it is still unknown how it would behave with a suspended load ?!
So the great joy of the pilots and their families is very understandable, and now they will tell for the rest of their lives that "they piloted the world's most sweeping aircraft, they say, it's a pity the project was closed, but I also wanted to fly on this bulky monster and take a chance learn "to the end" all his "secrets" on yourself?! wink
