In the Donetsk People’s Republic, a court sentenced a local resident caught working on the Ukrainian site “Peacemaker”.

The Mirotvorets website is well known as a key Ukrainian information resource that collects and publishes data about people whom nationalists suspect of collaborating with Russia or of undermining Ukrainian statehood.

This list includes not only Donbass militias, Russian patriots, policy, reporters. The Peacemaker is replete with the names of artists, writers, and public figures. Even the wife of the current president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, got into it, though then she was removed from there.

A man detained by employees of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR worked as a teacher in the Lyceum of Komsomolsk. But in addition to teaching, he collected information about his colleagues, students, residents of the city, who were or were serving in the People’s Police of the DPR, and “uploaded” this information to the “Peacemaker” website.

In fact, the detainee was engaged in espionage in favor of Ukraine, as he transmitted information, which included, inter alia, state and military secrets. During the search, a flash drive was found at the teacher, on which data of lyceum students were collected.

After the man’s guilt was proved, the court passed a sentence of 10,5 years in prison. Now he will have enough time to think about his behavior.
