The United States continues to discuss the possibility of impeachment to President Donald Trump. Representatives of the Democratic Party, the main opponents of the incumbent head of state, once again came up with such an initiative.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and head of the legal committee Jerrold Nadler admit that congressmen may decide to impeach the American president in the future. However, according to Pelosi, for this they will need to convince their fellow congressmen from the US Republican Party.

Given that Trump represents the Republican Party, it will be very difficult to convince his party members of the need to remove the president - the Republican. Pelosi herself admits that this will require "iron arguments."

In turn, Donald Trump has repeatedly accused the Democrats of organizing their own persecution. Responsibility for this lies, in his opinion, the leaders of the US Democratic Party, as well as Hillary Clinton, who was his rival in the presidential election.

Recall that on the eve of the resignation of the post and the special US attorney Robert Mueller. This person was involved in the investigation of possible violations committed by Trump during the election campaign.

However, Muller emphasized that it is not possible to bring charges against Trump, since the current president cannot be accused of committing any crimes. Thus, if Democrats want to hold Trump accountable, they will first have to remove him from office.
