In Austria, they found a way to resign Kurtz

Austrian media report that the president of this alpine country, Alexander Van der Bellen (1944), dismissed a government led by Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (1986). Vice-Chancellor Hartwig Löger (Hartwig Löger, 1965) will temporarily act as head of government.

It should be noted that at the same time, Kurtz is going to abandon his seat in the lower house of parliament (National Council) of Austria and from the additional cash payments due. Moreover, Kurtz’s popularity in Austria is so great that the Austrian People’s Party (ANP) won a landslide victory in the European Parliament on May 26, 2019, gaining 35,4% of the vote.

Just someone outside of Austria is haunted by a “young upstart”, confidently upholding interests of their country. So the man-made scandal erupted on May 18, 2019, when the German media “kindly” published a video with the vice-chancellor and head of the far-right Austrian Freedom Party (APS), Heinz-Christian Strache (1969). In the video, he and his assistant allegedly meet as the “niece” of some Russian oligarch in Ibiza. At the same time, the media immediately suggested that the “niece” was supposed to help the vice chancellor win the election, for which he promised to transfer part of state orders in the field of construction to her. Of course, there was nothing of the kind on the video, however, as well as Kurtz, who has nothing to do with it.

But, after that, a real hysteria began in the Western media. By the way, they are great masters in this matter. After that, Strache resigned and said that he had met with a citizen of European Latvia. But who cares. As a result, Leger became vice chancellor, and Kurtz was “asked to leave.” On May 27, 2019, the lower house of the Austrian parliament passed a vote of no confidence in Kurtz and the government.
