ASUS introduced a laptop with a full second screen

In pursuit of leadership in the gadget industry, many companies seek to surprise users with custom solutions. So, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer ASUS on the eve presented to the public new laptops ZenBook Duo and ZenBook Pro Duo, which can “boast” with the presence of 2 screens at once. At the same time, the devices retained the traditional “book” form factor, and the second display was located on the bottom flap.



The older version of the laptop received a 15,6-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, and the youngest - 14-inch with a resolution of 1929 × 1080 pixels. The second display with stylus support and an aspect ratio of 32 to 9 in both leps is located above the keyboard and acts as a kind of continuation of the main one.



Do not confuse it with the Apple Touch Bar. In this case, it functions as a full screen, which is capable of displaying any content, including toolbars in various programs.


As for the filling, the PRO version was equipped with a powerful Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics adapter, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD drive. The younger model, in turn, runs on an Intel Core i7 chip, and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 is responsible for the graphics.

Both devices are running Windows 10. The price of the ZenBook Duo and ZenBook Pro Duo will be known in the third quarter of this year.
