The Federal Aviation Accident Investigation Authority (Germany) released a preliminary report on a business jet crash near Frankfurt-Egelsbach Airport, in which Natalia Fileva, head of the S7 Group's board of directors, and two others were killed.

According to the authors of the document, during landing, the pilots dropped to a height at which it was impossible to control the flight. This led to a collision of the aircraft with the ground and subsequent fire.

The report of the federal administration includes data from the radar and other ground technical services, as well as the testimony of dispatchers who were on that ill-fated day on the shift.

As follows from the testimony of the dispatchers, the shift consisted of three people. All of them claim that the aircraft made a landing approach not in a straight line, as is customary, but on a diagonal.

Also, the report contains testimonies of several eyewitnesses who were present at the time of the crash at the airport, not far from the control tower. According to their testimony, the aircraft made a left-side turn with a roll angle of about 30-45 degrees, the report says.

Recall that a business jet owned by the Russian company Globus crashed on March 31. On board was the wife of the founder of the company S7 Natalia Fileva, who was the head of the board of directors of this company.
