On the outskirts of the village of Bazhovo, Chelyabinsk region, as a result of the collapse of the banks of the flooded quarry, two ten-year-old boys appeared in the water, who began to sink.

Without hesitation, 13-year-old pupil of the “Unarmia” department of the city of Kopeisk, Dmitry, rushed to the aid of the boys, who helped the children get ashore. Dmitry himself did not have enough strength for this and he drowned.

Divers are currently exploring the bottom of the quarry in search of the body of a dead teenager. Their work is coordinated by the operational headquarters of the Kopeysk fire and rescue garrison, which is deployed on the shore of the reservoir. Searches are complicated by heavy rain.

According to local residents, the quarry is formed at the mine site and its depth can reach a kilometer.

At the scene of the tragedy there are also representatives of the specialized fire and rescue unit, the State Inspectorate for Small Boats, police and ambulance.

According to friends, after graduation, Dmitry wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and enroll in the Chelyabinsk Civil Aviation School of Aviation to become a pilot.

The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk region are checking for the death of a teenager. On the official website of the IC of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region, it is indicated that the teenager died while saving two children.

Why did they hide their face? The child accomplished a feat! "......... bewilderment of adults, shooting for children." My sincere condolences.
