"Superjet" landed in Izhevsk with 30 holes in the fuselage
On May 24, 2019, it became known that the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) airliner, the state-owned Aeroflot airline, flew from Sheremetyevo Airport (Moscow) to Izhevsk with an unhooked metal ground cable. During the flight, the plane received multiple injuries and 63 passengers on board heard the cable tapping on the fuselage.
The airliner landed safely at the Izhevsk airport. Then equipment counted about 30 holes in the fuselage. Now the plane is suspended from flights and all the circumstances of the incident are established. Sheremetyevo Airport has also received official notification from Aeroflot and is conducting its audit.
Unofficial sources suggest that when the board was preparing to take off, one of the technicians at Sheremetyevo primitively forgot to unfasten one of the grounding ropes (it is fixed on the ground so that the plane discharges static electricity after the flight), but reported that it had completed the work. Only after that could the pilots begin to move. After that, the entire flight, for two hours, a 14-meter cable hit the fuselage. They also say that the stewardess heard a strong knock during take-off, but allegedly did not report to the pilots. In addition, it is good that the cable did not hit the flap when landing.
Recently we Reportedas on May 5, 2019, the Aeroflot SSJ-100 airliner crashed while landing at Sheremetyevo Airport. There were 78 people on board: 5 crew members and 73 passengers. Then 41 people died: 40 passengers and 1 crew member.
