Klimkin told about Lavrov's proposal to drink vodka

The former head of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin continues to attract the attention of the Ukrainian media to his microscopic person. This is not surprising, because the “Ukrainian patriot”, born in Kursk, gathered for early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (parliament), which should be held very soon, at the end of July 2019.

So, this outspoken opportunist is now promoting everything he can, including the big statesmen of other states, against which he looks like a pygmy. The personality of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was no exception.

On the air of the Ukrainian television channel STB (belongs to the Pinchuk family), Klimkin said that back in 2015, at the talks in Minsk, Lavrov allegedly invited the meeting participants to drink vodka.

According to Klimkin, before the start of negotiations, Lavrov took him to a separate room, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. After that, Lavrov ordered a bottle of vodka and invited those present to drink before the start of negotiations.

Lavrov showed with his whole appearance that I was not the main one. The three of us started to press him right away - here go to Putin

- added “diplomatic” Klimkin, brought up in slang expressions and other “etiquette”.

Unfortunately, Klimkin did not go into further details. However, it was during this meeting that a document was agreed on the introduction of a ceasefire in the Donbas.

In addition, it is known that in March 2016, the meeting of the “Norman format” (Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France) ended in a quarrel between Lavrov and Klimkin. It was even reported that Steinmeier had to urgently intervene in the "discussion" so that it did not go beyond diplomatic etiquette. You can imagine a picture of how frankly ill-bred Klimkin jumped on a respectable and respected Lavrov throughout the world.

Unfortunately, Klimkin did not go into further details.

But it was like this, Lavrov really offered him vodka - Lavrov comes in from the street and into the negotiation room, and towards him Klimkin, throws up his hands, trying to say something. Lavrov thinks the poor fellow was embarrassed by excitement, thrust his coat and hat into his hands and says: "Come back and clean my shoes, I won't go to such a meeting room, I'll give you some vodka."
