Lukashenko: Russia has closed its market for 60 of our enterprises
On May 21, 2019, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting at which questions were raised economics, GDP, exports in general, and food supplies to the Russian market in particular. And as the Russian users of social networks have already noted, commenting on the next statement by Lukashenko, "worse than smart enemies, there can only be cunning friends."
So, Lukashenko said that the issue of deliveries of agricultural products to the Russian market has not yet been resolved. According to him, about 60 Belarusian enterprises completely or partially closed the Russian market.
- the Belarusian leader was indignant, addressing the officials sitting in front of him.
Lukashenko stressed that he is primarily concerned about the export component of the economy. After all, the flow of currency into the country depends on this. In his opinion, the optimal balance of foreign trade should be achieved through diversification, when the markets of Russia, the European Union and the “countries of the far arc” will account for one-third of the total exports.
The President of Belarus noted that exports to the European Union are now ahead of supplies to Russia and this needs to be fixed. He emphasized, referring to officials, that he was talking about it now so that then, in the fourth quarter of 2019, they would not have to “heroically” overcome all these difficulties.

We got it to the point that we do not fulfill the already signed trade balances on agricultural products due to the fact that Russia is not fulfilling its obligations. Why are no measures taken?
