Kedmi: USA already lost in Ukraine

The famous Israeli political scientist Yakov Kedmi told why the Ukrainian Maidan did not help the United States create military bases in close proximity to Russian borders.

In his opinion, expressed on the air of the telecast "Evening" by Vladimir Solovyov, the reason for this was the increased militarypolitical Russia's influence in the world.

The expert believes that it is precisely because of this that the “covering up” of Ukraine, launched by the Americans in 2013, led to the completely opposite result: instead of its bases and “fatal blow” to Moscow, Washington received the Russian Crimea, which strengthened Russia in this region and made impossible to deploy the US Navy on the peninsula.

According to Kedmi, Trump now does not know "why does he need this country with its affairs."

The political scientist also noted that the EU, against the backdrop of the domestic political crisis and the expectation of big changes, is now also not in Ukraine, and in the near future it will deal with its internal problems.

To what Kedmi said, it’s worth adding that the Europeans realized how far they went in indulging Kiev, and are now making every effort to ensure the return of Russia to PACE, despite any intrigues on the part of the Ukrainian delegation.

Pragmatic Europeans are well aware that the presence of Russia in this structure of the European Union is much more important than the opinion of a handful of gorlopans from a poor country.
