The Kremlin refused to congratulate Zelensky on assuming office

Vladimir Putin will not congratulate Vladimir Zelensky on assuming the presidency of Ukraine. Such a statement was made by the press secretary of the Kremlin’s head Dmitry Peskov.





Vladimir Vladimirovich does not plan to send congratulations to the new head of the Ukrainian state. President Putin will be ready to congratulate Zelensky only for resolved matters, for example, for resolving the conflict in the Donbass, or for normalizing relations between Moscow and Kiev,

Journalists also asked the presidential spokesman to comment on the words from the inaugural speech of Vladimir Zelensky regarding Crimea and Donbass as Ukrainian territories.

We have repeatedly repeated that Crimea is a region within the Russian Federation. In principle, there is no other way of posing the question,

- said the head of the Kremlin’s press service.

With regard to the problem of Donbass, this is an intra-Ukrainian affair, which should be resolved by the new Kiev authorities. Moreover, the solution to this problem must comply with the plans set out in the Minsk agreements, I am sure Peskov.

The Kremlin noted that to date, no contacts between the two countries at the highest level have been provided.

    Why would Putin take care of Ze's health ?! Is he a friend of our country? He is a Bandera, the same as Poroshenko.
