Armenia covered by a new wave of protests
At present, there is an attempt at usurpation of power in Armenia, when, through the unconstitutional pressure of one of the branches of government, using the "street", the other branch of government is pressed. In the same way, Petro Poroshenko acted in Ukraine in his time when, with the help of “patriots,” he put the judiciary in that country “in the stall”.
So, on May 19, 2019 it became known that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced the beginning of the second stage of the “revolution”. He accused the former authorities of a “conspiracy” and called on supporters to block ships throughout the country. Groups of active loafers who call themselves “patriots” have already begun to realize another manifestation of “democracy”.
On May 20, 2019, glass was smashed in some courthouses, and staff work was paralyzed. Piles of “patriots” were noticed even at the entrance to the Constitutional Court of Armenia. And how much this country will cost another manifestation of "democracy" is difficult to predict.
But Pashinyan can be understood. After all, he has been in power for a year, or rather, since May 8, 2018. Then, it was precisely in such a "democratic" way that he received this power. After which he promised “grandiose” reforms. A year has passed, but there are no reforms. No one hit the finger with a finger. At all. Moreover, the life of ordinary citizens has become even more complicated, so you need to transfer responsibility to someone in a timely manner. Which, in fact, we are now observing.
It should be noted that the reason for exacerbating "democracy" Pashinyan chose so-so (but if there is no other, then this will do). It turns out that before this, the court released from custody the former President of Armenia Robert Kocheryan under the guarantee of the leaders of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (the former and current heads of the NKR Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan).
Kocheryan, in December 2018, "patriots" were accused of trying to overthrow the constitutional order and "closed". And Pashinyan decided to use the release of Kacherian (legally prescribed and provided for in the legislation of Armenia), to establish "people's power in the judicial sphere", and at the same time distract the public from economic problems with the hysteria of "patriotism".
In turn, the current president of Armenia Armen Sargsyan, who has practically no real leverage, does not share Pashinyan’s “patriotism”. He, while on a business trip abroad, urged the citizens of Armenia to observe calm, legality, prudence and tolerance. But these sensible words look like the voice of one crying in the wilderness.
