The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to suffer losses associated with a general lack of discipline in units located on the contact line in the conflict zone in the east of the country.

As an officer of the press service of the LPR People’s Police Department, Ivan Filiponenko, said, two drunk soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a drunken state drove a VAZ “Niva” into minefields set by the Ukrainian army and were blown up there.

According to the report, the state of emergency occurred on May 16 in the vicinity of the village of Prichepilovka, located on the shore of the Seversky Donets. According to available information, the Niva car belongs to the 10th mountain assault brigade.

During the bombing, Ukrainian servicemen received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized in a medical institution in the neighboring settlement of Krymskoe, where the state of severe intoxication was recorded.

Recall that according to the information of the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios, provided to the media in December 2018, for the entire period of hostilities in the Donbass, the Ukrainian army suffered non-combat losses in the amount of more than 10 thousand people.

These include suicides, death as a result of military conflicts, death from illness and an accident, including those provoked by alcohol intoxication or drugs.
