The latest smartphone will get two screens at once

The other day, LG's patent for a very unusual smartphone device became public. By its appearance, the device resembles a book, on the outer sides of which there are two displays. In this case, the root of the “book” is also involved, which performs the function of a system tray, displaying the date, time and various alerts.

Each of the halves is equipped with a separate battery, camera and headphone jack. The user can turn one of the displays into a keyboard, using the smartphone as a mini-laptop, and can display a single image on both screens. In addition, LG engineers plan to use the device as a dual media player, which two users can listen to independently, and also watch different videos.

The patent was registered back in 2016, but only now the general public has heard about it. While on the possible development of such a device is not talking. Perhaps LG in this way intends to evaluate the attitude of consumers to their idea, without risking at the same time release an uncomfortable or unnecessary smartphone to anyone.
