Russia will launch Chinese missiles from the Il-76
The Chinese company One Space will become a partner of Russia in the implementation of the Aerospace aerospace complex project designed to launch missiles from the Il-76 transport aircraft. The system should become an analogue of the American Launcher one and will allow launching space rockets from an air platform at an altitude of 10 km.
The project is planned to be implemented on the basis of the Miass Center named after Academician V.P. Makeeva. The contract with the Chinese company was signed during the Silk Road international forum. According to Yuri Babonov, Deputy Director for Development of CJSC Aerocosmos, both sides will make an equal contribution to the creation of the complex.
