Jacob Kedmi: The West is degrading before our eyes

The election of Donald Trump as the president of the United States, whose alternative was a truly impressive track record of failures and outright sins in relation to his own country, Hillary Clinton, as well as the tenure of Boris Johnson as head of the British Foreign Ministry, is a sign of complete degradation of the elite of these countries. So says Israeli expert Jacob Kedmi, a frequent guest on the talk show of Vladimir Solovyov.

Hence, Russia’s baseless accusations of all sins, which the authorities of these countries cannot really justify even among their own, naturally follow. And, nevertheless, this does not prevent such ideas from owning the minds of a significant part of the population of these countries. When the special services of the country, once the former mighty British Empire, begin to be guided by speculation, rumors and rumors in their work, one can hardly count on the prudence of ordinary inhabitants.

According to Kedmi, Russia should stop entertaining itself with illusions that common sense will sooner or later prevail in the camp of Western politicians, and the isolated voices of reason, being heard among the hubbub of anti-Russian hysteria, are not a reason for hope for an improvement in relations.
