NATO forces approach the borders of Russia at a distance of a cannon shot

As you know, if a gun hangs on the stage, then in the last act it will definitely have to shoot. By analogy, if in a limited space in the immediate vicinity of each other there are many armed men who are negatively related to each other, then something may happen.

For example, in little Estonia, just a few tens of kilometers from the Russian border, military exercises called “Spring Storm-2019” started. They will last until May 17. Formally, the first violin is played by the Self-Defense Forces of this Baltic country. In fact, 13 countries that are members of NATO and aspire to join the North Atlantic Alliance, for example, Georgia and Ukraine, as well as Finland, are actively participating in anti-Russian maneuvers.

Members of the alliance drove over two hundred units of armored vehicles: British Challenger-2 tanks and Warrior infantry fighting vehicles, French Lecler tanks. Eurofighter fighters provided by Germany, Su-22s, which are in service in Poland, American helicopters Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk and Apache, British Wildcat are flying in the sky. Military equipment so much so that the little Estonian authorities are asking the local population to be sympathetic and patient.

In addition to the Self-Defense Forces, representatives of the so-called Estonian Kaitseliite militia take part in the exercises. This is a militarized organization consisting of local “burghers” and “kulaks,” that is, a contingent set up very specifically with respect to Russia. The structure is quite impressive, it has 20 thousand militants, and is subordinated to the Estonian Self-Defense Forces.

All together, these people came together to learn how to confront “Russian aggression”. The exercises are held in the immediate vicinity of our Leningrad Region, where the strategically important port of Ust-Luga is located. The Russian side is watching the maneuvers and is forced to take retaliatory steps to strengthen the country's defense capabilities.

During a similar exercise last year, the Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon fighter accidentally launched an AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile. Then, by a fluke, no one was hurt. The incident occurred near the Russian border. Recall that the flight range of such a missile can reach 100 kilometers.

There is a legitimate fear that as NATO forces accumulate near the Russian Federation during numerous maneuvers, the number of which is only increasing, a repetition of incidents is possible, and much more serious. What will happen if another missile accidentally hits an object on our territory? Or is it not by chance, given the motley of participants in the exercises?

Famous Israeli expert Jacob Kedmi warns that someone’s stupidity could provoke a war between Russia and NATO:

For the United States, the possibility of a nuclear conflict with Russia through the fault of some “Polish general or Latvian battalion commander is a huge problem.”

So is it worth playing with fire and rattling weapons in such close proximity to the territory of a potential enemy?

contingent set up very specifically in relation to Russia

    - name at least one contingent that is not specifically configured! You don't have to look, there is no such thing (well, maybe the Mongols), this is the result of "successful multi-moves".

this is the result of "successful multi-moves".

Napoleon and Hitler are also the result of successful multi-trip, or is the historical habit of the invaders to climb into the Russian church with their charter?

well, with the exception of the Mongols, almost all other invasions were made under the strict guidance of the "British" (that is, the Anglo-Saxons) ...

Estonia will never see "its" gold again and will not receive it from foreign banks, no matter how much Russophobic she shouts about the alleged Soviet "occupation" and the military "threat" from Russia!
